A Letter for You is an upcoming non-profit Violet Evergarden fanzine that aims to revisit the theme of "letters". Writing, receiving and delivering letters make us feel a large range of emotions that we want to convey through art and fictions.

Moderators

We are a team of two friends and roommates who have known each other for years. We are used to work together and work better in more generalized roles. As such, we will be handling some of the duties together, such as general organization, finances, formatting and shipping.

Azumuco

Hello, I'm Azumuco, co-head mod and art mod for this zine ! I've loved Violet Evergarden since the anime came out, and I'm also a big fan of the light novel. I'm so excited to see this project come to life!
My experience include being a merch mod for Beyond Time - an Aoba Johsai fanzine, and I've been involved as a contributor in ~10 zines. I also ran small community events in the past, such as Secret Santas. I have experience in making merch and I helped in finances to run a small business.

Midonargh

Hello everyone, i'm the co-head mod and writing mod for this zine ! Violet Evergarden is definitely one of my favorite piece of art, and it has left an indelible mark in my memory. I've experienced so much emotion watching it that it felt like an evidence to honor it.
I have never been enrolled in a zine for now but being a quality manager in a professional association, I have knowledge and experience in finance and structure management.
Also, being a writer in my spare time and the owner of several RP blogs, i will gladly help you with your writing pieces.
Thank you for joining us in this thrilling adventure !

We plan to do both a physical and digital zine, along with physical and digital merch.

-

How many contributors will there be ?
We are looking for 20 artists and 6 writers.

-

Who can apply ?
Everyone can apply, as long as you can provide an illustration / fic for the zine. Experience is not mandatory and each contributor will be chosen based on the quality of their work.

-

Can I apply for more than one role ?
Yes, you can, but you will need to submit an application for each role.

Since shipping isn't the main focus of the zine, we'd like to keep it neutral. You may draw two characters together, but the romantic ship shouldn't be the main focus of your piece.

No, we aren't allowing any NSFW for this zine.

Yes, absolutely ! You will be able to specify if you'd like to do a collaboration during your application.

We will be sending an email to each applicant, regardless if accepted or not. Check our social media to see when we will send them and be sure to check your spam folder as well.

-

I have more questions, where can I contact you ?
Feel free to reach us via our social media or Curiouscat. Both are linked below.
